Audi A2 electric concept heads for Frankfurt
Fri, 02 Sep 2011Audi A2 Concept EV - Frankfurt bound The last Audi A2 was perhaps the only real failure for Audi in the last twenty years. But that hasn’t stopped them reviving the moniker and attaching it to a new concept heading to Frankfurt – the electric Audi A2 Concept. The Britalian Job: MINI remakes the Italian Job for London 2012

The result is something MINI are calling the ‘Britalian Job’, an homage to the classic 1960s Italian Job with the original Mini and starring Michael Caine and Noel Coward (and Benny Hill), although in truth it’s more like an homage to the later version with Charlize Theron.
Audi A3 is the 2014 World Car of the Year
Fri, 18 Apr 2014The Audi A3 (pictured) is the 2014 World Car of the Year The New York Auto Show is the place where the World Car of the Year winner is announced, so with the show now underway comes the news that it’s the Audi A3 that’s grabbed the gong for the best car in the world in 2014. It’s the second time Audi has won the award – the Audi A6 won in 2005 – and probably holds up a mirror to the changing face of the world’s car landscape; more compact, ‘Premium’ cars are now the most favoured buy. But really, the Audi A3 isn’t just a single car.
