Inside the 2012 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque
Mon, 11 Apr 2011With many large and heavy luxury SUVs powered by 5.0-liter V8 engines in its lineup, Land Rover was likely to run headlong into stringent new carbon-reduction legislation around the globe. True, there are small utes, powered by V6 and four-cylinder turbodiesel engines, but these are entry-level models not completely representative of Land Rover's core image. Bentley's posh leather child seat
Thu, 12 Nov 2009Bentley has launched a new collection of accessories to compliment its cars, all of which apparently highlight the company’s 'design and craftsmanship skills'. From child seats to torches, the range is designed to make the life of your average Bentley owner just that little bit more comfortable. Perhaps, but having spent £150,000 on 200mph of GT pleasure, you are unlikely to fit a Halfords booster seat. The hand-stitched child seat - for 'the company’s smallest enthusiasts' - is made to match mum or dad's car with the same leather and piping, and can feature the child's name embroidered on the back beneath the Bentley wings, if Sir or Madam wishes.
Elemental RP1 sports car (2014): first pictures of Britain’s newest track car
Mon, 23 Jun 2014By Jonny Edge First Official Pictures 23 June 2014 15:58 The frighteningly lightweight Elemental RP1 emerged fully for the first time today, ahead of its public debut at this week’s Goodwood Festival of Speed 2014. At its heart, the 450kg RP1 has a unique carbon-composite tub based on the designs of contemporary race cars. The driver will sit 'feet up', allowing for greater underfloor downforce, which goes some way to explaining how the car achieves a quoted 200kg of downforce at 100mph.
