The New Vauxhall Astra (2010) at Frankfurt We’ve seen the pictures of the new Astra some time ago – and had some detail – but the news from the floor on the new Astra comes in the form of price and spec. And the Astra looks like it’s placed itself pretty well. The entry level Astra – the Exclusiv 1.4i – offers 86bhp and comes with AirCon, Stability Control and an MP3 compatible radio/Cd for £15,675.

Ferrari 458 Italia World Première +Video

The Ferrari has its world premiere this week in Maranello Wednesday evening saw gala presentation of the 458 Italia to an invited crowd, and Ferrari had every Ferrari-associated face on display, from Michael Schumacher to Piero Ferrari. It’s the usual glad-handing event, but we do get a few glimpses of the 458 in motion, and it’s a curtain raiser for the proper reveal next week at Frankfurt. Porsche future products: Small SUV, entry-level roadster in the plan

Porsche plans a major expansion of its product range by the middle of the decade. CEO Matthias Mueller has promised at least one new model a year, starting with the redesigned 911 that arrives in February. An SUV that is smaller than the Cayenne will be added, along with an entry-level roadster.
