Saleen announces new electric supercar
Wed, 04 Dec 2013Californian tuner and sometimes supercar-builder Saleen has confirmed it is working on an all-new electric car, with plans to debut the new model in 2015. Perhaps best known for the 248mph Saleen S7 Twin Turbo, which went out of production in 2009, the firm specialises in providing performance upgrades for modern American muscle cars, including the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro. Ford touts electric range, speed of plug-in C-Max Energi hybrid
Tue, 07 Aug 2012Ford's C-Max Energi plug-in hybrid wagon will be able to hit 85 mph on battery power alone, the automaker said Tuesday. The C-Max Energi can also travel 20 miles on electric power. The driver can put the powertrain into one of three modes, via a button on the center stack: -- EV Now, which runs the vehicle on the lithium-ion battery pack until it is depleted.

Thu, 15 May 2014Bentley is celebrating its 95th birthday with a special-edition Mulsanne 95, which will only be available in the U.K. Only 15 examples of the Mulsanne 95 will be produced. The upgrades are purely visual, which means power still comes from 6.75-liter twin-turbo V8 making 505 hp and a cement-cracking 752 lb-ft of torque.
