The 2012 Fiat Panda was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show last Autumn, and looks as though it’s going to continue the Panda tradition of simple motoring at affordable prices with the news that the starting point for the new Panda will be £8,900 for the entry-level Panda POP 1.2 8v 69 CV. Even the top-of-the-range Panda Lounge 1.3 MultiJet 75 CV comes in at a not too unreasonable £12,250, with another eight models in between the two extremes offering variations of trim and engines to suit sensible urbam motoring.

Confirmed: Kia’s new GT super coupe

Back in 2011 Kia’s Frankfurt show car was the inspiring GT Concept. Now we can report, directly from Korea, that Kia management intends to bring that concept to a street near you in two years. The Limited Edition Peugeot RCZ at Frankfurt The 200 number is in celebration of the 200th anniversary of Peugeot being established as a trading entity (a manufacturing company then – but not of cars, unless we’ve got our history in a muddle) and can be ordered at the show or on Peugeot’s web site. The Limited Edition RCZ will come in Pearlescent White with a carbon fibre double-bubble roof. A set of black 19″ alloys housed inside smoked-chrome rimmed wheel arches and a six speed manual ‘box mated to the 156bhp 1.6 litre petrol engine ar part of the package.
