Shipping:
- We ship orders Monday through Friday, except major U.S. holidays.
- Unless otherwise stated in the Shipping and Payments section, domestic orders placed before 1PM EST will ship the same day.
- Orders placed after 1 PM EST will ship the following business day.
- International orders may take an additional day for processing.
- Domestic orders ship UPS ground. UPS 2 day air is also available. Use the map below to estimate UPS shipping times.
- International orders ship U.S Mail.
- Customs forms are marked with the exact value of your order, no exceptions.
- Fluids cannot ship internationally.
- We combine shipping. Use the cart to combine shipping.
- Most orders over $150 qualify for FREE UPS ground shipping. Free shipping does not include AK, HI, PR, APO/FPO, or US Virgin Islands.
- Backorders: Although we try to make sure everything in our store is in our warehouse when you place your order, occasionally we may run out of a certain item. If this happens, you will be notified immediately of the estimated shipping date.

Cars of the future could be powered by seawater
Fri, 18 Apr 2014Water from the sea could power cars of the future, if experiments currently being trialled by the US Navy prove to be successful. According to Jalopnik, the US Naval Research Laboratory is turning carbon dioxide from seawater into hydrogen, with the hope of fuelling its jets from alternative sources. Hydrogen cars ‘on sale next year’ Zero-emissions hydrogen fuel-cell cars on sale in 2015 – Hyundai If successful, researchers predict it’ll cost between $3 and $6 per gallon – that’s approximately 40p to 80p per litre.
Peter Schreyer introduces Kia's new Sportage
Mon, 26 Jul 2010It's a sign of just how significant the new Sportage is for Kia that rather than flying UK journalists to an international launch location the company instead rented a boutique hotel in London's Notting Hill, created a sketch gallery in the basement and flew in key members of the car's development team to meet the press — who were then lent some the first new Sportage's in the UK to test for a month. One executive present at the event was Kia's Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Design Officer, Peter Schreyer. Car Design News was invited to meet with Peter to talk about his role at Kia and for him to talk us through a vehicle Kia is billing as the first to be designed entirely under his tenure.

Thu, 19 Mar 2009Pininfarina didn't show a new car at this year's Geneva Motor Show, but there was a surprise new model on the Tata stand adorned with the famed Carrozzeria's signature. Called the Tata Prima (meaning 'first' in Italian), the luxury sedan concept is the first official project of the Tata-Pininfarina cooperation. Based on the platform of the Tata Indigo - the first Indian sedan - the Prima is an indication of how future Tata sedans could look.
