Top Gear: Clarkson, Hammond & May sign for another 3 years

Fri, 28 Sep 2012

It’s been revealed that Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have signed up for another 3 years of Top Gear. There may not be a new series of Top Gear on its way until 2013, but we now know that Top Gear as we know it – with Jeremy, Richard and James – is safe for another three years after the trio signed a new deal with the BBC, tying them in to Top Gear until 2016. Mitsubishi Motors Corp. plans to kill its current lineup of U.S.-made vehicles, including the Eclipse sporty car and Endeavor crossover, over the next three years and switch to producing global vehicles at its Illinois plant, partly to target export markets. The current nameplates will be phased out by 2014 as part of the carmaker's “Jump 2013” mid-term business plan unveiled Thursday by president Osamu Masuko.

New 2015 Honda NSX – Made in America

Tue, 14 May 2013

The new Centre – costing $70 million, stretching to 184,000 square feet and housed inside Honda’s old logistics facility – will employ 100 of Honda’s most skilled workers in Ohio to bolt the new NSX together, and even the engine will be assembled at Honda’s engine plant in Anna, Ohio. Not only has Honda revealed where the US-designed NSX will be built, but they’ve appointed their R&D chief engineer, Ted Klaus, to lead the team developing the new NSX and Clement D’ Souza, associate chief engineer at Honda USA, to head up production. Ted Klaus said: This new plant will be as unique as the vehicle we will build here.
