Hydrodynamic test tank for outboard or inboard / outboard (Sterndrive) boats. Allows motor testing by simply backing boat & trailer up to the tank. Motor can be run in gear at high RPM without using a test prop. This tank is designed to be set into a shallow depression and has an hydraulic cradle which pivots the tank up or down (note: the hydraulic cylinder will need to repaired or replaced) depending on transom height in relation to the tank. This unit is serviceable as is but should be cleaned up and revamped for best results. Similar new units sell for over $3000. Ford overhauls plans for the U.S. C-Max to go with fewer seats, all hybrids
Thu, 09 Jun 2011Ford has shifted gears on its plans for the C-Max wagon in the United States and will now sell only the five-seat version with hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains, beginning in 2012. Ford has canceled plans to sell the seven-seat version of the C-Max with a conventional gasoline engine in the States. Ford will call the car the C-Max hybrid, and C-Max Energi will be the name of the plug-in version.

Starting with the iconic 1958 BMW Isetta 250 ‘bubble car', a team led by project co-ordinator Guido Gabriel modified the chassis, body and interior using BASF paints, fabrics and flexible foams. As well as showcasing BASF's automotive applications, the MySetta project demonstrates how they can be used to create striking fashion products such as shoes, coats and handbags; and accessories like a picnic hamper and portable stereo.
