Admittedly, you do need to stick a deposit of £1,845 down if you want to pay just £69 a month, but even if you can only rustle up £699 you can have the duster for £99 a month. At that sort of price – thanks to a deadline offering from just £5,995 – it’s about as cheap a way in to a new car as you could hope for.
Volvo V40 range gets new Drive-E engines
Thu, 27 Mar 2014From May this year Volvo will update its V40 model, equipping the premium Swedish hatchback with its range of high-efficiency Drive-E engines and Volvo’s latest eight-speed automatic gearbox. This means the revised V40 line-up now offers an impressive performance to efficiency ratio, with 190hp on offer in the D4 turbodiesel variant, returning a claimed 74.3mpg combined with 99g/km CO2 when mated to the six-speed manual. The DS3 Pink will come in two trim levels, each of which will have two engine options, but both grades will share a fuchsia pink roof, door mirrors and wheel centre caps. On the inside there’s a fuchsia dashboard and a matching gear lever knob.
