MG6 Diesel launches – price from £16,995

The much needed diesel version of the MG6 has launched, offering a diesel engine in the new MG for the first time. Priced from £16,995. The now Chinese-owned MG hasn’t had overwhelming success with its MG6 so far, but much of that can be put down to the lack of a diesel-engined offering in a marketplace that has become diesel obsessed.

Volvo Concept Universe

Taking center stage at the Shanghai Auto Show was the Volvo concept Universe.  As the first project done under Peter Horbury since his return to Volvo, and new owner Geely the car marks a departure from current design languages and returns to simple Scandinavian design. DRIVERS have illegally stopped on motorway hard shoulders for all sorts of barely believable reasons, according to a list from the Highways Agency Some of the dumb and dumber reasons include picking flowers, renewing insurance policies and even trying to sell their car. On another occasion, traffic officers found two cars on the hard shoulder, with the owners halfway through the selling and buying process for one of the cars.
