2013 Honda Fit EV sales expand to East Coast
Wed, 13 Feb 2013Honda is expanding leases of its Fit EV from the left-coast bastions of Oregon and California to the East Coast markets of Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, New York and New Jersey. Eco-minded East Coasters still can’t buy the car outright, but they’ll now be able to lease the electric Fit for three years at a cost of $389 per month. The Fit EV has a mpg equivalency rating of 118 and an EPA electric driving range of 82 miles.

It’s been the ‘launch’ of the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed this week, so we’ve has bits of information floating in, like the Mercedes cars- ancient and modern – making an outing, the new Bentley V8 blatting up the hillclimb and the Jaguar XFR getting the prize for the ‘Most Spirited Getaway’ at the start of the hillclimb. But one little outing caught our eye – the re-creation of the scenes from the new Sweeney film with the Jaguar XFR and the new Focus ST.
Ford recalls 14,737 pickups and crossovers
Thu, 30 Dec 2010Ford is recalling almost 15,000 vehicles, including some 2011 F-Series pickups, 2011 Lincoln MKXs and 2011 Ford Edges, to fix an electrical short in a body-control module that could cause a fire. Ford told the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that modules built during a six-day period by a supplier could be faulty. So far, no injuries, crashes or fires have been reported.
