Heavy Duty One Piece 100% Stainless Impeller Housing
The stock OEM units have an aluminum housing with a thin stainless liner. Over time they can "bubble" or swell due to corrosion between the aluminum housing and stainless liner causing contact with the impeller and eventually jamming the impeller. The one piece stainless housing solves that problem. It is an excellent choice especially for boats that operate in salt water.

Twenty years ago, the classic bargain brands like Lada seemed to be going the same way as the Soviet empire that spawned them. Woefully dated and badly made, only a weirdo would have bought a new Lada rather than a second-hand model from Ford, Vauxhall or VW. However, one of the big trends in the car industry today is the re-emergence of bargain cars.

We spend a lot of time on the Internet -- pretty much whenever we're not driving, writing about or working on cars. Since there's more out there than we'd ever be able to cover, here's our daily digest of car stuff on the Web you may not otherwise have heard about. -- A 1918 Sinclair gas station in New Orleans has been transformed into a 2000-square-foot vacation rental.

This is the Mitsubishi Concept PX-MiEV, the Japanese car company’s star attraction at this month’s 2009 Tokyo motor show. The concept tag is obvious, but the PX part designates the show car as a plug-in hybrid crossover, and MiEV stands for Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle. Externally the PX-MiEV drops heavy hints towards the styling of the next Outlander, but Mitsubishi has pared back the design and purposely avoided adding the 'rugged'’ elements so common to SUVs.
