VW Amarok gets an update & BlueMotion Technology
Tue, 06 Nov 2012Volkswagen has updated the ‘Bob the Builder’ VW Amarok for 2013 with new options, more power and BlueMotion Technology. And now it’s not only well-built, but more powerful and more frugal too.
New Lexus IS to debut at 2013 Detroit Auto Show
Wed, 05 Dec 2012The new Lexus IS - previewed at this year’s Paris Motor Show by the Lexus LF-CC Concept – will debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2013. This time round it looks like Lexus are going to offer a hybrid IS 3000 as the route to the heart of fleet buyers in Europe with a 2.5 litre petrol four-cylinder mated to the usual box of batteries and motor, all running through a CVT ‘box (sadly).

As a flagship to trump even its own S 63 AMG model, the German firm claims its S 65 AMG monster is the most powerful vehicle in its market segment. Packing a 6.0-litre V12 petrol motor, this third generation of S 65 can deliver a zero to 62mph sprint time of 4.3 seconds and carry on to an electronically limited 155mph.
