Spring Mountain opens Cadillac V-Series Academy

While half the country is slogging through snow this time of year, some of you -- like Cadillac -- are prepping for the racetrack. The Cadillac V-Series Academy at Nevada’s Spring Mountain Resort and Country Club is now open to the public. The resort, just outside Las Vegas, has four miles of racetrack and 125 feet of elevation change.

JAC revealed this four-door Vision IV concept at the Beijing Motor Show. Designed by JAC's Turin-based design team, the concept showcases both a hybrid powertrain and a new A-segment chassis that houses a lithium ion battery in the center tunnel. The styling is meant to convey both a sense of 'natural electricity' and the fluid, natural strokes of Chinese calligraphy. GM technology chief Tom Stephens to retire

Tom Stephens, GM's vice chairman, chief technology officer and former head of global product operations, will retire on April 1 after a 43-year career with the automaker. His successor will be named later, GM said Sunday. Stephens, 63, has served as GM's chief technology officer--a new position--since Feb.
