New Donkervoort D8 GTO Dutch firm Donkervoort has revealed their D8 GTO with an Audi 2.5 litre 5-pot engine with up to 400hp and a 0-60mph of 3 seconds. Dutch maker of bonkers cars, Jooop Donkervoort, has unleashed his new, lightweight and totally impractical car – the Donkervoort D8 GTO – after what seems an age of development. And thanks to a close working relationship with Audi, the D8 GTO pretty much lives up to its cheeky GTO moniker.

AT a glittering launch event in London Jaguar treated the assembled media to a succession of theatrical and musical acts ahead of the main event – the long-awaited unveiling of its new XE compact executive saloon. SEAT The Spanish carmaker SEAT today confirmed it will launch its first SUV in two years' time. Likely to be inspired by the IBX concept car, the new SEAT 4x4 will share technology with Volkswagen's compact SUV range. Little has been announced about the launch of SEAT's SUV, but the company has shown a clutch of concept cars over the past decade, including the IBX (above) and the Tribu (below).
