Yes, it’s OTT and designed for the Playstation generation rather than people past the first flush of youth, but it brings a huge grin to my face every time I drive one. The new Sonata / i40 has launched in Korea The Sonata – which will be the Hyundai i40 in Europe – is yet another very convincing new model from the Koreans. Gone is the very boring old Sonata and in comes the very European style i40. It is a somewhat derivative design – from the  ’Coupe Saloon’ school of design – but that’s a positive for a budget car maker like Hyundai.

Tesla Expands UK Supercharger Network

FOLLOWING on from the recent UK launch of the right-hand drive version of its Model S electric car, Tesla has turned its attention to expanding its Supercharger network. The Supercharger is a public charging facility allowing owners to rapid charge their vehicles – around 20 minutes for a half charge – enabling longer journey times. In partnership with the Hyatt Regency hotel chain, Tesla now has Superchargers in London and Birmingham at the hotel’s Portman Square and Bridge Street properties respectively.
