Two different LS models will be available again - the LS460 and LS600h - but there's now F-sport trim available for the first time, for those who want to give their LS a more sporting look. Just as the previous ‘Legends’ Editions of the Veyron – like the Veyron Black Bess, Veyron Meo Costantini and the Veyron Jean-Pierre Wimille - the Ettore Bugatti car is based on the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. As such, it offers open-top motoring with a top speed of 254mph, 0-62mph in 2.6 seconds and 1184bhp from its 8.,0 litre W16 engine.
Jaguar Land Rover U-turn: all three UK plants saved
Fri, 15 Oct 2010Jaguar Land Rover today surprised us all by announcing that it wouldn't be closing any of its three UK plants. CEO of Tata Motors Carl-Peter Forster had told CAR as recently as the Paris motor show a few weeks ago that one plant would shut. Instead, today the unions and Jaguar Land Rover hailed a landmark deal to save jobs and all three plants at Castle Bromwich, Solihull and Halewood.
