SMART (SWC) Steering Wheel Control interface can be used on most vehicles with steering wheel controls. (IF your vehicle isn't listed in the Compatibility Chart, its not recommended to purchase this controller) SMART SWC is designed to be used with today's top aftermarket radio manufactures, and is all you'll need to retain the OEM steering wheel controls (as long as the After Market Headunit has the 3.5mm Plug in the back, or has the Blue/Yellow Control input wire). SMART SWC has the ability to auto-detect many vehicle makes to the specified aftermarket radio (in ad) and it will preset the steering wheel controls to the aftermarket radio automatically so no programming is required. If desired it can be manually programmed so the user can make the steering wheel controls function they way they want them to. The only limits are the functions on the aftermarket radio.
- Head-unit stereo MUST come with a wired steering wheel remote connection (or 3.5 SWC PLUG)!!
- The aftermarket head-unit must have a Steering Wheel Control 3.5mm input plug (Called a SWC)
- Or steering wheel remote control input wire - which is (blue/yellow).
Wiring Advisory: May have to hardwire this adapter into your vehicle's wiring.
In most vehicles, the factory radio plug does not have a wire dedicated to the steering wheel audio controls so splicing is often required.

The intrepid Bimmerphiles over at www.e90post.com have uncovered a few drawings from BMW's latest patent request. The drawing shows a new transmission linkage and what looks to be a seven-speed manual transmission. Like the new Porsche 911, the BMW gear shifter has six gears in standard H pattern, with a seventh gear out to the right.

The club likely will be open only to people who possess at least five Ferraris. The Italian supercar brand says there are about 300 collectors worldwide who own five or more Prancing Horse models.
