Volvos get a facelift: V70, XC70 & S80 get tweaked
Fri, 15 Apr 20112011 Volvo S80 Facelift - tweaks to cosmetics and diesels Well, if you’re going to have a fiddle with one car, you may as well have a fiddle with three. That seems to be Volvo’s point of view as it performs a bit of plastic surgery on the Volvo V70, Volvo XC70 and Volvo S80, and fettles the oily bits in to the bargain. Under the skin, it’s tweaks to the diesel lumps that dominate, with both the D3 (2.0 litre) and D5 (2.4 litre) getting some work.

This was Toyota's optimistic vision in 1970 when it presented the EX-7 concept at the Tokyo Motor Show, a high-speed touring car designed for intercity transportation in the near future.

You might consider – as we probably wrongly did – that the tease for Lamborghni’s Paris surprise started back in June when Lamborghini sent us a photo which said ‘Coming Soon…’ across a photo of a bonnet in shadow with the Lamborghini badge in light. Or you could consider that the more recent batch of tease photos started with what we called the Jota tease 2 earlier this month.
