    Produces a low deeper tone, without the loud noise. Will save your sled 5-7lb. and some applications gain 1-2 horsepower over stock silencers. 8.5 lb. lighter than stock mufflers. Uses the stock location exit. The under-hood heat reduction and sharp appearance is provided by the ceramic coating. Reduces weight by 8lbs.

It seems incredible to think that anyone would want an even faster, more focused McLaren P1. But Woking has consulted the 375 owners and found out that their appetite for speed apparently knows no bounds.

    What's better than an open desert mountain road? How about having a Ferrari or two with which to tackle it--especially when said steeds are the famed F40 and a 599 GTB Fiorano? This recently released video from Ferrari shows that, while decades separate the cars, and their ethos are on opposite ends of the spectrum, the pure performance isn't so different--a fact that speaks highly of the F40.

    Wired has just published a series of short articles entitled 13 Lessons for Design's New Golden Age. While there are some interesting examples cited in the piece, the concluding article, ‘Why Getting It Wrong Is the Future of Design' by the former creative director of Wired magazine, Scott Dadich, feels like it has particular resonance for car design. Dadich's Wrong Theory uses disruptive examples from the world of art, plus his own experience of working at Wired, to explain how design goes through phases: establishing a direction, creating a set of rules that define that direction and finally someone who dares to break from that direction.
