The first major breakthrough in wear bar technology since the 1950s. Unique corner-carving hourglass design yields better control at speed with no increased steering effort. Better tracking on trailshourglass wear bar shape catches snow from ski sides to make steering more positive. Average of 1 - 2 tighter turning radius in soft snow conditions. 20% lighter than conventional 1/2 diameter round wear bars. Zinc-plated for corrosion resistance. Lifetime wear rate is nearly equal to current round and square wear bar types. Manufactured by Stud Boy. Designed and tested by USI. Sold in pairs. Sold in pairs. Michael Schumacher joins Mercedes - Press Release Below
With seven Drivers’ World Championships, 248 Grand Prix starts, 91 victories, 154 podium finishes and 68 pole positions, the 40-year old German needs no introduction following an illustrious and record-breaking Formula One career from 1991 to 2006 at the Jordan, Benetton and Ferrari teams. Michael’s return to racing with MERCEDES GP PETRONAS sees his return to Mercedes-Benz Motorsport where he began his racing apprenticeship as part of the Junior Programme in 1990, racing in Group C sports cars and DTM, and sees Michael renew his partnership with Ross Brawn with whom he won all seven of his World Championships. Today’s announcement confirms the MERCEDES GP PETRONAS driver line-up for the 2010 season with Michael partnering his compatriot, 24 year old Nico Rosberg, in the Silver Arrows cars.

The production version of the Renault Captur Crossover has been revealed ahead of a debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Instead of a funky urban crossover that managed to out-Juke the Nissan Juke (which is the same car under the skin) we instead get a Renault Clio with some butch bits added and a raised ride height. Which is rather disappointing.

The MINI Canyon - a 2 Door MINI Countryman
What on earth is a MINI Canyon, I hear you ask? You’ll be shocked to know it’s yet another iteration of the ubiquitous MINI, and it’s due to hit our roads in 2012 if the rumours Auto Express are pushing are to be believed. The MINI Canyon is said to be a 2 door MINI Countryman based on a shortened Countryman platform and featuring the Countryman’s AWD option.
