Ultra-rare 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic sold

A 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic was sold to an undisclosed buyer, auction house Gooding & Co. said on Wednesday. The price was not revealed, but it's believed to have sold for between $30 million and $40 million.

Design LA, the automotive design conference that incorporates the Design Challenge competition, has announced its winners, during this year's LA Motor Show. This year's nine competition entries had a brief to deliver a 100 percent recyclable, five-year lifespan vehicle with 'accoutrements that add fun or function to represent California's unique green lifestyle.'
