The replacement for the Aston Martin DBS (right) will look much like the One-77 (left) at the back The revised Aston Martin DBS – due to arrive later in 2012 – will take many styling cues from the One-77 and get a new name. Aston Martin are busy working on an updated DBS (which is why we’re about to get the DBS Ultimate Edition) and are aiming for a reveal by the Paris Motor Show in September. But this isn’t going to be just a facelift for the DBS.

The Ferrari SA APERTA unveiled in Paris Ferrari let us have info on the 599 Roadster which is the Ferrari SA APERTA last week, and today the very limited edition Ferrari has been rolled out to an appreciative audience at the Paris Motor Show. The Ferrari SA APERTA has been built to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Pininfarina, and the SA stands for Sergio and Andrea Pininfarina (the APERTA bit simply means ‘Open’). And the APERTA is very much the Roadster, paying only lip-service to any notion of enclosing the cabin.
