Sunbeam Alpine V

Cylinder Head

Cylinder head, with valves and springs, removed from a '66 Alpine V 1725.

No visible cracks, but it came off of a used and non-running engine that had sat for many years, so I would count on needing a full rebuild and be pleasantly surprised if you get by with less.

I have removed some of the studs shown on the head in the photos to reduce the size of the package for shipping (but will include them).

See my other items for more Tiger / Alpine parts.

Payment methods accepted are Paypal.

Buyer to pay $68.50 for Canada Post shipping to the Continental USA (this includes the 11% premium that eBay is now charging sellers on shipping costs). Canadian shipping will cost slightly less, and depend on province.

All other locations pay actual shipping rate, plus the same eBay fee on the shipping. I ship internationally, but international rates on a piece this size are going to be very expensive (generally 3-4 times the USA rate for European destinations, and 5-6 times the USA rate for Australia/New Zealand). Thanks for looking and good luck!

New Ford Kuga Titanium X Sport tops Kuga range

Mon, 19 Aug 2013

The New Ford Kuga Titanium X Sport (pictured) is the new top of the range Kuga Ford’s latest Kuga crossover/SUV is turning in to something of a success story for Ford, with Kuga production increased earlier this year to keep up with demand. Not only that, but it seems some 87 per cent of all Kugas are being ordered in range-topping Titanium and Titanium X trim levels, which leaves Ford just one option – come up with a name for a trim level even higher than Titanium X to bring in more high-priced sales. Our suggestion earlier in the year was to do exactly that, perhaps with a Titanium XX, Titanium Ultimate  or Titanium Black, but Ford has decided on Kuga Titanium X Sport for their new range topping, more expensive, better equipped Kuga.

SSC Tuatara revealed in Shanghai

Jerod Shelby reveals the SSC Tuatara in Shanghai We finally discovered last month that Shelby Supercars wouldn’t be calling their new Veyron-bashing hypercar the Ultimate Aero II (which seemed logical) but has instead taken a leaf out of Pagani’s ‘Book of obscure names for Supercars’ and decided on SSC Tuatara. Yep, SSC has named their hypercar after the Maori name for a lizard, a lizard with the fastest evolving DNA of any creature (doubtless the motivation for Jerod nicking the name for his car). Interestingly, a comment on the story we ran about the new SSC getting the Tuatara moniker said that as well as having the fastest evolving DNA of any creature, the Tuatara “…puts a tortoise to shame in the slow moving stakes, and is also regarded as a living link to the dinosaurs” which, for Jerod Shelby’s benefit, we should probably gloss over.
