This is a great sunbrella fabric I have used over the years and highly recomend it. Uses - Outdoor protective covers . Cushions . Shading - ( Awnings, Gazebos, Umbrellas.) Bags, Backpacks, Banners, Flags It is water repellant, mildew resistant, uv protected. Sunbrella is 100% solution dyed acrylic fiber which is thermoplastic, 9 ounces per square yard. This fabric has a 5 year limited warranty. This is a top quality fabric, not a clearout,or discontinued. Meets or exceeds 40,000 double rubs. Stillen contest calls for production SEMA Scion FR-S bodykit designs
Thu, 19 Jul 2012Tuning company Stillen has launched a competition to design a bodykit for the Scion FR-S to be put into production. As well as having their design made, the winner also win entry to the Specialty Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) Show and be put up during the show for two days in Las Vegas, where the car will be displayed The contest calls for designers to submit renders of a lip/body kit consisting of a front lip spoiler, side rockers and rear valances by downloading the design templates from the contest website and submitting their own designs by email along with name and contact information. The Stillen design team will choose the top five designs three days after the submission deadline and upload them to its Facebook page, with the winner chosen by the public on Facebook after two weeks of voting.
Gordon Murray’s MOTIV.e debuts in Tokyo
Fri, 22 Nov 2013Gordon Murray, the famous McLaren Formula One and McLaren F1 road car designer, and bike-builder Yamaha unveiled the MOTIV.e at the Tokyo Motor Show. The MOTIV is a hot take on a city car in the vein of the Smart ForTwo and Aston Martin Cygnet. Multiple versions of the MOTIV could be produced, with both electric and gas power.
Lotus, Toyota celebrate engine deal
Fri, 17 Sep 2010Lotus CEO Dany Bahar presented Toyota president Akio Toyoda with a Lotus Elise this week at the British Embassy in Tokyo, celebrating the companies' long partnership. The Elise was equipped with Toyota's last 2ZZ-GE VVTL-i engine, the same engine found in older versions of the Lotus Elise and Exige. “The presentation of Toyota's last 2ZZ engine in the Elise is a symbolic gesture of our continued respect and deep appreciation for our partner not only acknowledging our past, but also looking forward to our future together,” Bahar said in a statement.
