The Plowmaster™ Anchor is precision cut and polished from grade 316 Stainless Steel and is suitable for both sailboats and powerboats. Tested in muddy, sandy and packed bottom conditions, the PlowMaster has demonstrated superior strength, holding power, and it looks great! The precision cast plow section is made of polished 316 stainless steel, and the precision cast handle is 17-4PH stainless. Specially designed hinge assures superior strength and has an integral pin. Wayne Cherry receives Lifetime Achievement Award at EyesOn Design 2013
Mon, 08 Jul 2013Renowned car designer Wayne Cherry was honored with a Lifetime Design Achievement Award at the EyesOn Automotive Design Exhibition at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House, Michigan. The former GM vice president of design was chosen by a panel of his fellow designers for the honor after a 42-year career with the carmaker, during which he was involved in the design of over 80 concepts and more than 90 production vehicles. Only vehicle designers who have previously won the award are allowed to vote, with this year's panel including Chris Bangle, Walter de'Silva, Tom Gale, Giorgetto Giugiaro, Chuck Jordan, Robert Lutz, Shiro Nakamura, Chuck Pelly, Sergio Pininfarina and Jack Telnack.

Mon, 31 Mar 2014As Mitsubishi shifts its global lineup toward utility vehicles and electrified cars, it will pull the plug on the Lancer Evolution at the end of the nameplate's current generation. “Mitsubishi Motors does not have any plans to design a successor with the current concept, as a high-performance four-wheel drive gasoline-powered sedan,” spokeswoman Namie Koketsu said, describing the car as having “icon” status. “Mitsubishi Motors will explore the possibilities of high-performance models that incorporate electric vehicle technology.” Dropping the Evo was foreshadowed last fall when President Osamu Masuko unveiled a new mid-term business plan that would deprioritize in-house sedans and explore sourcing them through joint projects with the Renault-Nissan Alliance.
