Selling a beautiful 1957 Mercury Mark 75 short shaft outboard motor. This motor was restored 4 years ago and has been in service since then. I bought two old Mercury motors off a guy here in WI who restores old wooden boats.  He had an ad posted on CL for two restored Mercury Mark 55 outboards. When I got there he also said he had an Mark 75 and if I bought the Mark 75 he would put the Mark 55 in its place on his Cruisers Inc boat. So I bought one Mark 55 and a Mark 75 and figured we would decide which one we wanted to use on my Fathers boat. We went with the Mark 55, so selling off the Mark 75 now. This motor has excellent compression on all 6 cylinders. The powerhead on this motor was NOT restored. He said since it had perfect compression and was in great running condition he seen no reason to open it up. SO all he did to this powerhead was remove it for painting, put new base gasket in when put back on, rebuilt carbs, took mag apart and rebuilt that(said he had a heck of a time finding new parts for it but eventually did), sent starter in to someone had that rebuilt, all new plugs and wires, and he said he put a new recoil in the motor, old one was sticky. Now as far as restoration of motor, he removed all nuts and bolts and all components,  soda blasted all the paint off right down to bare metal off all the individual parts. He then ordered the right paints as original and the correct primer(zinc Oxide), primed all the parts , and then painted all the parts and then reassembled. Oh yea, he said he tore gearcase apart and inspected gears, totally cleaned inside of gear case and reassembled everything. He said he found a guy who had all new seals and bearings for the lower unit, and an new impeller. So all that was also done 4 years ago. The boat didn't get used much at all, he said it got put in the water two times a year at his cabin. The guy also restored the controls. He took them all apart cleaned everything and lubed it all up with fresh grease. Control box was all repainted with awesome detail, this is one super sharp set of controls!!!! The wire harness for controls is in excellent condition with no deterioration to wires at all, very good condition. This motor starts right up and runs fantastic!!!!!  Selling as is as it is still a used outboard motor.

One Lap of the Web: Forsberg can't stop, won't stop drifting

-- Jann Mardenborough won the "Nissan GT Academy" back in 2011 and since then has finished on the podium at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, as well as participating in the Infiniti Red Bull Racing driver program with aspirations of Formula One. He explains what it's like to move on from video games -- which he started playing at age 7 -- and transitioning into real sports cars. Mardenborough, it must be said, once drove too fast in British GT to be considered an amateur, but not quick enough to enter the pro class -- and race organizers, who didn't know what else to do, gave him a time penalty so the amateurs could catch up.

Mercedes-Benz F700 concept: first official pictures

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 11 September 2007 03:00 So, another big lumbering Mercedes saloon then? Not a bit of it. Although the F700 might be 5.17m long – somewhere between the S-class and long-wheelbase S-class – the F700 is supposedly cleaner and more frugal than any current S-class.
