You are bidding on a Sure Check Avionics TPAS VRX Traffic Scope. This is the same technology as the Zaon XRX, MRX and Monroy units. These little boxes are great portable solutions for aircraft traffic detection. While ADS-B is great, these are still very necessary..at least until the 2020 mandate. This box gives traffic detection from the other aircrafts transponders. It does not rely on the ADS-B system. Since not all aircraft will have to be ADSB in/out for at least 4 more years this independent boxes will still have a place in the cockpit. Great portable TCAS solution.

Very similar to the successful Zaon boxes, this does virtually the same in that it detects the aircrafts transponder and location.

Tracks up to 3 aircraft simultaneously.

Detects aircraft up to 5 miles away.

Works on +12v or +40v   or

Works on 4 AA Batteries

What you see is what you get. There is a separate audio jack in the rear that will allow for plugging into a external jack on your panel.

This unit had been hardwired at one time. I have now put a cigarette lighter plug end on and  cleanly spliced correctly, works perfectly.

2020 is still 4 years away..This is a great extra layer of protection for you and your passengers.

Flat rate shipping of $15.00 to lower 48.

No overseas or International with emailing me prior.

Hydrogen powered Black Cab hits London streets

Wed, 09 Jun 2010

The first LTI TX4 hydrogen-powered London Taxi A hybrid fuel cell electric London cab has been revealed, but unlike recent developments with the traditional Black cab – where Mercedes are busy taking over - this experimental hydrogen-powered Cab is based on the familiar LTI TX4. The joy of using a hydrogen tank to run the batteries is that unlike a plug-in hybrid a refuel will take all of five minutes – no more than filling up with petrol or diesel would, A full tank will give a range of around 250 miles and – just like a plug-in BEV – the hydrogen powered cab is emission free at the point of use. The plan is to raise funding to produce a fleet of hydrogen powered Black Cabs in time for the London Olympics in 212.

Lexus LFA Roadster coming

Tue, 28 Sep 2010

Lexus LFA Roadster The Lexus LFA is a very odd car from a company seemingly obsessed with all things ‘Green’, to the point where it finally builds the small Lexus we’ve expected for years and then lumbers it with a Hobson’s choice with the oily bits. All that’s on offer in the CT200 is hybrid misery and CVT. Nothing else.
