Mercedes’ F125 concept might preview a hydrogen future for the automobile, but alongside this tech-laden show car Benz boss Dr Zetsche (with a little help from Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg) also unveiled a hardcore race car. It’s the Mercedes C-class Coupe AMG DTM, which will compete in next season’s Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters – think touring car, only with 4.0-litre V8s and rear-wheel drive chassis. Split Camaro showcases 'quality' for State Farm agents

From fastidiously original to trailer-park fantasy, State Farm Insurance has merged two ends of the car-repair spectrum in one 1968 Chevrolet Camaro convertible. Don't fret for the “destruction” of this car, as it was sourced from a totaled vehicle that ended its first life via an engine fire. The purpose of the build is to educate insurance adjusters on the various levels of quality in repairs, restorations or modifications that find themselves littered throughout the collector-car world.

Jag hops on Super Bowl ad bandwagon

Jaguar is preparing to tout the brand's British roots in a new advertising campaign called "British Villains" that will be its largest ever and include its first Super Bowl commercial. The campaign will be used to launch the new F-Type coupe that debuts at the Los Angeles auto show later this month and goes on sale in April. The 30-second Super Bowl commercial will run during the second half of next year's event on Feb.
