Nissan Patrol breaks obscure Guinness World Record
Mon, 26 Aug 2013The Nissan Patrol, a cooler-looking version of the Infiniti QX80 with a Nissan front end, broke a Guinness World Record on Thursday at Sharjah International Airport in the UAE. The nearly 3-ton truck pulled a 170.9-ton cargo plane for more than 164 feet (50 meters), breaking the previous record for “Heaviest aircraft pulled by any production vehicle” by 15 tons. The previous record was attributed to the Volkswagen Touareg that pulled a Boeing 747 at 155 tons.
KISKA opens new design studio

The new headquarters boasts state-of-the-art workstations and has been built to enable the firm to prepare for expansion and new challenges in the years to come. The pair are preparing to break through the 1000mph barrier for the first time, 12 years after they set today's 763mph record. The two speed specialists today launch the Bloodhound Project – which will sire a 6.4-tonne supersonic car.
