Following the runaway success of its New Beetle, which probably started the trend, VW asked itself whether it could enjoy the same success with a modern interpretation of the legendary T1 Microbus. Designed at the surf-central design studio in Simi Valley, California, the Microbus Concept took ample inspiration from its distant ancestor, but was modernized in every way.

The figures, obtained through a series of freedom of information requests by Churchill Insurance, found that Westminster City Council issued the equivalent of more than four Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) per resident in 2013, generating an income of £24 million for 455,000 fines. Jaguar Land Rover: Tata to double annual investment to £1.5 billion
Wed, 22 Feb 2012Tata to double investment in JLR Tata Motors has revealed that it plans to double annual investment in Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) to £1.5 billion. Just last week we reported that Tata Motors’ profits in the last quarter had been driven very much by the resurgence at Jaguar Land Rover, with JLR profits soaring while Tata Motors domestic profits declined. And it looks like Tata are keen to keep that momentum going with the announcement that they are to double annual investment in Jaguar Land Rover to £1.5 billion.
