We are a billet grille manufacturer dedicated to delivering a quality product. Our business has grown greatly over the last 10 years. We specialize on a specific market and cater ot the needs of the customer. Our focus in the design department is in the fit and ease of installation. Bolt-on billet grilles mean less tools and no cutting which in turn equals more productivity. When it comes to manufacturing a quality product, it starts in the design department but it doesn't end there. We start with solid stock of aircraft quality T-5 or T-6 billet aluminum rather than extruded aluminum as used by some competitors. The stock is cut to length then shaped to its specific contour. Each grille is then hand assembled into a custom jig and precision welded with a process called T.I.G. to ensure a strong and clean weld. At this point every billet grille is treated to a durable glossy block powder-coat. The final stage of manufacturing includes a three-stage polishing and cleaning. The entire process takes place in our Southern California manufacturing facility. When a retailer or distributor sells a T-Rex Billet Grille, they know they are selling years of experience in quality and fit. Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival is full
Fri, 26 Mar 2010Steve Earle, the granddaddy of vintage racing in America, has picked 375 historic race cars to fill the field at his Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival, June 5-6 at Infineon Raceway in California's wine country. "The cars are the stars," said Earle. "And when they aren't racing, they are easily accessible in this area for the fans for that up-close and personal experience of inspecting engines, talking with owners or otherwise learning more about the sport and the restoration and maintenance of vintage cars." Earle said the event will continue the tradition of the Monterey Historic Automobile Races, which he founded 37 years ago.
Jaguar readying SUV for Frankfurt motor show
Wed, 31 Jul 2013While the next new Jaguar model slated for dealerships is a BMW 3-series fighter rumored to be called the XS, Autoweek sources have confirmed the company will also be showing an SUV at the Frankfurt motor show in September. Likely to be named XQ or Q-type, the Jaguar SUV is expected to ride on a version of the XS platform (itself a variation on the aluminum XJ architecture) rather than share a platform with a Land Rover product. Slated for 2016 production, the new Jaguar XQ SUV will share some powertrain technology with Land Rover, specifically the Ford I-4 engines from the Evoque.
McLaren celebrates 20th anniversary of the legendary McLaren F1
Wed, 26 May 2010McLaren Automotive celebrated the 20th anniversary of the start of the F1 program by inviting F1 owners past and present to a celebration dinner at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, England. The owners were treated to a display of 21 McLaren F1 road and race cars, the largest number of F1 cars ever assembled in one place. It all started in 1988, when McLaren made the decision to expand from Formula One and design and build what it called "the finest sports car the world had ever seen." In March 1990, the team created to build that car came together for the first time.
