Audi Q3 on the move It was a very long time coming, but Audi managed to deliver up information and photos on the Q3 yesterday ahead of a launch at the Shanghai Motor Show next week. But despite the big photo gallery of the Q3 – more than 30 images and three models – there’s nothing like seeing a car on the move to get a proper idea of what it’s about. Jaguar chooses ‘XE’ name for new small sports saloon (2014)

The new sub-XF fastback, scooped by CAR in a world exclusive earlier in 2014, will be available from early 2015, with four-cylinder engines first. Eventually, you’ll be able to choose from, rear- and four-wheel drive versions, including a 550bhp flagship hot rod.

Maserati refreshes Quattroporte

The new flagship Quattroporte S borrows the 424bhp 4.7-litre V8 from the GranTurismo S, while the standard Quattroporte retains the existing 393bhp 4.2-litre engine from before, with both hooked up to the ZF six-speed automatic transmission introduced two years ago. No, fortunately Maserati has decided not to tamper with the Quattroporte’s styling – five years and 15,000 sales from launch and the Pininfarina-penned saloon still looks superb.
