The OpenPort 2.0 is our newest tuning tool hardware that is capable of communicating with a most OBDII compliant vehicles using a standard interface. Combined with our EcuFlash software, the OpenPort 2.0 is capable of reflashing a large number of newer Subaru and Mitsubishi vehicles, and support for other cars is in progress.  Micro  SD card is NOT included.

Adaptors/Initialization Connectors (NOT included in this set) are required for:

  • 2001-2002 WRX
  • 2003-2005 WRX
  • Mitsubishi Evo 7 thru Evo 9

Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 Technical Details

Please Note:   For reflashing the ECU, this hardware is designed to work with open source ECUflash software.  As an open source application,  technical support is provided within the open source community at the OpenECU forums here.  Please do not contact Tuner Tools for any technical support issues regarding ECUflash until you have FIRST registered and posted your issue on the forums at OpenECU.org.  Tuner Tools is NOT the technical support for this product and we can only assist with having the right people in the open source community have a look at whatever problem you might have.

Jeep has begun searching for the extra bodies to mount its next big project: the redesign of the Jeep Wrangler. And the job opening descriptions provide some clues as to the changes planned for the off-roader's next generation. This is supposition on my part, of course -- and a Jeep spokesman declined to comment when asked, saying the company doesn't discuss future product.

McLaren has started to tease the 12C Spider – the convertible 12C – ahead of full details in the next few days. We’ve know that a convertible version of the McLaren MP4-12C – the 12C Spider – has been on the way for some time, but now it’s almost here. We thought McLaren would just come out and introduce the 12C Spider, but they can’t resist teasing, although we wonder if  McLaren might be trying to take some of the gloss off the UK debut of the Ferrari 458 Spider at Goodwood this weekend by revealing the 12C Spider before the end of the Goodwood weekend?.
