Land Rover Discovery Sport, GIANT wellies & the River Seine (+video)
Mon, 06 Oct 2014The Land Rover Discovery Sport, GIANT wellies & the River Seine Apart from the full reveal of the new Jaguar XE range, JLR’s big outing at this year’s Paris Motor Show has been the public debut of the new Land Rover Discovery Sport. And, as is fast becoming the norm for Jaguar Land Rover, the new Discovery Sport arrived in Paris with a bit of a splash. The Concept XC Coupe is clearly a very firm look at the 2015 Volvo XC90, but instead 0f previewing its as a seven-seat, five-door SUV, Volvo has chosen to deliver the Concept XC as a two-door, four-seat XC90 – think of it probably as Volvo’s X6 or an ‘Allroad’ version of the next XC90.

Extolling his own thoughts on design amid the current world – “constraints are what promotes creativity” - he described VW as being immersed in a process of defining their design language as Audi had already done to achieve the quality and diversity necessary. Audi design DNA was “understood by everyone in the company” he said, “right down to the smallest details”.
