TWIN DISC / TECHNODRIVE  model TMC 60 A marine transmission, new, with warranty.  This model is a 7 degree downangle type, meaning the output shaft is at a 7 degree angle to the engine crankshaft.  This allows the engine to sit level, with the prop shaft angled down 7 degrees.  Your choice of  2:1,  or  2.45:1  reduction ratio.

 List price is $1789, we sell these new units discounted.


 It is rated for a maximum 45 horsepower diesel engine at 3600 rpm. The engine must have left hand [ counterclockwise ] rotation, when looking at the flywheel.

 It will bolt to a 4" diameter Borg Warner / Velvet Drive prop shaft coupler. We have these couplers in stock, new, to fit 3/4",  7/8",  1",  1.125", 1.25"  and 1.375" diameter prop shafts. $69 each.

It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure this transmission will fit the application.

The average commute has increased in distance, but more people working from home means there are actually fewer cars on the road at rush hour today compared to 10 years ago, according to statistics from the most recent Census conducted in 2011. Figures show the average commute has increased from 8.3 miles in 2001 to 9.32 miles in 2011. People living in the east of England travelled the furthest to work at an average distance of 10.34 miles – while those in London had the shortest commutes averaging 6.83 miles.
