Product Description

A totally proportional electric trailer brake control, the PrimusIQ is self-leveling so no level adjustment is necessary. Utilizing the primary sensor technology from Prodigy, the PrimusIQ now includes the Boost feature that gives users the ability to apply more initial trailer braking when towing heavier trailers. It works proportionally in reverse for backing into tough spots and includes a snap-in dash mounting clip and removable electrical connector that allows the unit to be quickly stored when not in use. You will appreciate the digital readout depicting a secure electrical connection, amount of voltage delivery to the trailer brakes and diagnostic features incorporated in the LED display.

Volkswagen Polo R WRC Street The Volkswagen Polo R WRC Street that’s heading for the Worthersee Tour previews a production model of the VW Polo R. This time last year Ulrich Hackenberg, a VW Board member, confirmed that VW intended to build a production Polo R, and the Volkswagen Polo R WRC Street that’s arrived at the Worthersee Tour this week gives us a pretty good idea of what a Polo R will offer. VW make no mention of a 4WD platform for the Polo R in the stuff they’ve sent us, but with a 4WD version of the Polo platform developed for the Audi S1 and the Polo WRC car it seems likely VW’s new baby pocket rocket will be 4WD too.

Kia's total range overhaul is now complete as the new Carens C-segment MPV joins the Korean manufacturer's brochures at the Paris motor show. Based on an all-new platform, the Carens offers the choice of five or seven seats, covering off other manufacturers' 'normal' and 'grand' models with one bodystyle. Design-wise it's most closely aligned to the latest C'eed, with similar, pulled-back lamp graphics and pouting grille.

Martin Smith has been guiding Ford of Europe's design efforts since he was appointed to the position of Executive Design Director in 2004, coming straight over from an illustrious career at General Motors. During his tenure as Director of Design at GM Europe, Smith oversaw the Insignia concept car as well as much of the Opel range, including the acclaimed Astra. At Ford, Smith spearheaded the automaker's 'Kinetic Design' strategy and has since presented this vision in both concept and production car form.
