CES: It's a digital experience

The night before the Consumer Electronics Show opens its portals to the world’s technogeeks, there is a sort of preshow called the Digital Experience! (They added that exclamation mark to the name, not us.) Still, the relatively small, ancillary consumer-technology show does set the stage for the massive CES juggernaut the next day. This year, as always, we wandered the aisles of Digital Experience looking for car-related tech.

Teen Driving: Gen Y delays earning licenses

From the environmentalists to the socially connected, trends indicate teens aren't in as much of a rush to earn a driver's license. In fact, almost half of 18- to 24-year-olds surveyed said they would pick Web access over their own car if they had to choose. Experts say social media sites in particular play a role by connecting teens without requiring them to leave their house.

Update: Audi TT-RS – more images

We did a piece yesterday on the Audi TT-RS teaser images released by Audi ahead of the TT-RS launch at Geneva in March. But now we’ve got some more pictures, even though they are not official Audi releases (excuse the less than normal quality). It would make much more sense for car makers to stop teasing and do things properly.
