Kia Pro_Cee’d GT Turbo first photo leaks out

Sun, 27 Jan 2013

We have the first of the 2013 Kia Pro_Cee’d GT – Kia’s Pro_Cee’d with the Veloster Turbo engine – ahead of its debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. We reported back in October that Kia were definitely going to stick the 1.6 litre petrol turbo from the Hyundai Velsoter in to the 3-door Pro_Cee’d to create a quite warm hatch to start chasing the hot hatch market, and Kia themselves teased the Pro_Cee’d GT in November. And now, ahead of the reveal of the Pro_Cee’d GT in March at Geneva, we get the first photo of the Pr0_Cee’d GT complete with the added butchness we expected to differentiate the GT from its more prosaic siblings.

Andy Priaulx’s guide to 2012's BMW M3 DTM racer

Mon, 05 Dec 2011

The Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters is the world’s greatest tin-top race series, and after a twenty-year absence BMW is returning to the DTM in 2012 – it’s been tempted back by new rules and regulations that cut costs, improve safety, and make the racing closer and more exciting than ever. And Guernseyman Andy Priaulx is one of just six drivers who has a seat in the half dozen M3s that’ll battle Mercedes’ C Class Coupe DTM and Audi’s A5 DTM next year. We caught up with the three-time World Touring Car Champion to find out about his new 480bhp company car.

Aston Martin and Mercedes 'to strike €300m deal'

Wed, 22 Oct 2008

By Georg Kacher Motor Industry 22 October 2008 21:25 CAR Online today lifts the lid on the secret deal – codenamed Romeo and Juliet – being hammered out between Aston Martin and Mercedes-Benz. We have sensational details of the alliance, including a plan for hybrid Aston Martins, the full range of proposed Lagonda models and even a possible DB10 and 4x4 from the Aston Martin Lagonda stable. Back in August 2008, we revealed how the British sports car maker was in talks with the German giant over future cooperation (read our original Aston-Merc scoop here).
