This parts kit allows use of a deep oil pan on the Torqueflite 727 (1962-1965) and 904 (1960-1965); to be used with oil pans having a minimum inside depth of 2-1/4” from pan rail to bottom (inside, directly under the filter). Allows use of the 1989 and later A518 (727) or A500 (904) overdrive transmission oil pans on the early 1960’s Torqueflites. Also usable with any deep pan having the minimum inside depth of 2-1/4”, measured from the oil pan rail to point of clearance under oil filter. Extension has second hole for rear pump operation; necessary with the 1960-1965 Torqueflite 727 & 904 as the governor is supplied with fluid from the rear pump and helps control the upshifts and downshifts (“kickdown” or “passing gear”). Second hole also necessary for “push-start” capability with the 1960-1965 Torqueflite 727 & 904. Kit consists of aluminum filter extension, 2 – ‘O’ rings, correct Dacron 2-hole filter and 3 attaching screws with washers. Shipping $ 13.55 via Priority Mail; insurance available for $ 2.05.  We ship purchases twice weekly, Wednesdays and Saturdays. eBay's new policy restricts e-mail addresses between buyers and sellers; contact us for technical information or pictures by substituting the "@" symbol for the "at" in the following: tflitepatty"at"comcast.net. Contact us for shipping costs to foreign countries. NOTE: kits available with correct Dacron 2-hole filter, and pan gasket for 727 or 904; complete deep pan kits also available for 1962-1965 727 or 1960-1965 904. We also have available on auction or in our eBay Store most Torqueflite 727 & 904 “soft” parts in “open stock”, available by the piece (gaskets, seals, bushings, ‘O’ rings, clutch discs, steel plates, lip seals, bands, thrust washers, filters, metal sealing rings, etc.) or in “sub-kits” for single-function repair; most Torqueflite 727 & 904 “hard” parts also available. See a selection of other Mopar parts on our eBay store site: T’Flite Patty’s Shop Mart. Prefer PayPal; contact us if you experience difficulty signing up with PayPal. Payment must be received within 10 days or part will be re-listed and a “non-paying bidder” report filed with eBay.

RETURNS, new OR used: parts received back at our location from purchaser must be in “as-originally-shipped” condition, having not been installed, damaged or changed from original configuration in any way. Purchaser is responsible for insurance coverage when returning. Refund will be made within 7 days after we receive the returned parts (in acceptable condition), in the same form as original payment.

De Tomaso assets being brokered

Wed, 07 Jan 2009

The De Tomaso brand and factory are up for grabs It’s true to say that the De Tomaso brand, probably the most significant of the unused Italian Supercar Marques, has been hawked round the world for years. But this document puts up some real detail, and pictures of the sad decline of a once successful (particularly in the U.S.) supercar maker. De Tomaso was, for a time, a great blend of Italian style and American muscle, but it lost its way badly many years ago and, despite a few attempts to resurrect it, De Tomaso has been off the scene for a long time now.

BMW 7-series (2009) first pictures

Sat, 05 Jul 2008

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 05 July 2008 00:00 This is BMW’s fifth-generation 7-series, and despite looks inspired by the Concept CS, if we’re honest the new car doesn’t look much different from the old car. Worry not though, as there are plenty of technical highlights to surprise and delight. Rear-wheel steer, Efficient Dynamics technology, night-vision, unrestricted internet access, a revised iDrive system and an all-new 3.0-litre diesel engine stand out.
