These Teflon front clutch sealing rings will work with 1962-1970 TF-727’s as well as 1971 & later units which use the thinner sealing rings. The Teflon is pliable, so conforms to the I.D. of the front drum very well and is “non-aggressive” to the sealing ring surface, in difference to the OEM metal rings. These install on the reaction shaft support (rear half of front pump). Most aluminum front clutch drums come with these Teflon sealing rings. Also usable with front clutch drums which have been honed slightly oversize on the I.D. after having wear induced by the OEM metal sealing rings or ring lands. Shipping via First Class Mail is $5.60; we ship purchases twice weekly, Wednesdays and Saturdays. We also have available on auctions or our eBay Store most Torqueflite 727 & 904 “soft” parts in “open stock”, available by the piece (gaskets, seals, bushings, ‘O’ rings, clutch discs, steel plates, lip seals, bands, thrust washers, filters, metal sealing rings, etc.) or in “sub-kits” for single-function repair; most Torqueflite 727 & 904 “hard” parts also available. See a selection of other Mopar parts on our eBay store site: T’Flite Patty’s Shop Mart. Prefer PayPal; contact us if you experience difficulty signing up with PayPal.

RETURNS: new or used parts received back from purchaser must be in “as-originally-shipped” condition, having not been installed, modified, damaged or changed from original configuration in any way. Purchaser is responsible for insurance coverage for any damage occurring during transit either direction. Refund will be made in the same form as original payment within 7 days after we receive the returned parts.

The most expensive cars ever: Ferrari 250 GTO sells for $38 million

Fri, 15 Aug 2014

By Tim Pollard Motoring Issues 15 August 2014 10:19 A 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO Berlinetta sold overnight for a record $38,115,000 (£22,528,626) at the prestigious Bonhams Quail Lodge Auction held during Monterey Car Week. At a stroke, the Ferrari has become the most valuable car in the world, overtaking the 1954 Mercedes W196 R F1 Racer which sold for $30m at an auction at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Tellingly, seven of the top 10 most expensive cars ever sold at auction were Ferraris (see our list below).

Deloitte interviews 677 'millenials,' concludes they're broke

Mon, 20 Jan 2014

Until artisanal, sustainable, locally sourced craft-beer bars can upend themselves from their Brooklyn brownstones and directly to your Park Slope loft entrance, it turns out that today's youthful generation will still need to buy cars to get places. In fact, they might even be picky about what they spend time in, which means that young people, even "millennials," are doing research on cars and forming their own opinions as smart consumers. Hey, doesn't that sound familiar?
