Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE takes to Virginia International Raceway
Tue, 31 Jul 2012Chevrolet recently took a Camaro SS upgraded with the 1LE package to Virginia International Raceway (VIR) to test. The new package adds $3,500 to the cost of a standard Camaro SS, for a total price of $37,035. At VIR, the car is good for a lap time of 2 minutes, 58.34 seconds.

There will be four trim levels available – Access, Active, Allure and Feline – all with up to 1,660-litres of boot space, with four petrol and five diesel engine options on offer including the new 3-cylinder PureTech 1.2-litre e-THP with either 110 or 130bhp as well as BlueHDI models with emissions as low as 85g/km. Sat, 26 Sep 2009Land Rover are planning a new Defender to launch in 2012 As always, the Defender is going to be the traditional Land Rover as – unlike the rest of the Land Rover Range which is moving over to aluminium platforms – the new Defender will be based on the existing – and very capable – current model Discovery platform. The use of the T5, twin rail steel chassis from the Discovery is vital if the Defender is to continue to offer the range of body styles currently available – including hard and soft tops – which make the Defender the versatile work horse it is. But the Defender will still be going on a diet and will be a lighter car than the current Model.
