Most importantly it allows you to keep your power steering if you want to. To install simply remove your inner tie rod ends and place these spacers on the thread portion, reinstall your inner tie rod ends WITHOUT the claw washer but WITH threadlock on the threads (medium grade Loctite 270 or equivalent recommended), and do your toe alignment. What they do is add 10mm of length (3/8ths of an inch) to the center shaft of the rack. Which means you have more turn to turn distance and will equal to about 8 more degrees of steering angle. Great for drifting, rallying, gymkhana, autocross or even just doing a tighter radius U-turn in the city! Low cost. Fitted in minutes. Zero drawbacks.
