(Gas) Tax Day: How much are you paying?

Today is April 18, also known as Tax Day in the United States. Since we're car enthusiasts and not accountants, we decided to ignore the half-finished 1040 on the kitchen table and take a look at a tax that means a lot more to us--the gas tax. The gas tax is the portion of every gallon that pays for road maintenance and other transportation projects.

Citroen C4 (2011): first official pictures

This is the new Citroen C4, the French car company's latest rival for the ever-present VW Golf, Vauxhall Astra and forthcoming Mk3 Ford Focus. Citroen hopes to challenge the trio with a mix of class-leading interior space and a gadget-laden cabin, and the new C4 will be unveiled at the Paris motor show this September, before UK sales start in early 2011. Toyota exec to answer questions on Digg

Toyota’s recall crisis has left consumers uncertain, and to try to address that, a top executive will answer questions on the social-media Web site Digg today at 5 p.m. Eastern. Jim Lentz, president and COO of Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A., will do a “Digg Dialogg” based on questions submitted by users.
