Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring Edition: Extreme Corsa hits the UK
Tue, 04 Oct 2011Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring Edition - now in Vauxhall showrooms Vauxhall told us they’d built an even quicker Corsa VXR – the Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring Edition – back in April, and told us it would go on sale in May. Well, if it did, it’s taken a full five months since then for Vauxhall to get real Corsa VXR Nurburgring Editions in to their showrooms. But now they’ve got there, and the Nurburgring Edition does look a fun little hot hatch.
BMW M5 Diesel Confirmed – the BMW M550d, perhaps?
Thu, 18 Aug 2011A diesel M5 - the BMW M550d, perhaps? We’ve been reporting on BMW’s triple-turbo diesel engine since we broke the news back in 2009 that BMW could be working on a triple turbo option for their 3.0 litre diesel, designed to create an ‘M Diesel’. And it now looks as though that will arrive as the BMW M550d – or a variation on that name – as soon as 2012.
Subaru Forester (2009): first official pictures
Thu, 27 Dec 2007By Phil McNamara First Official Pictures 27 December 2007 14:50 This is Subaru's all-new Forester estate, set to be unveiled at January's Detroit motor show. Devoted fans won't be disappointed, because the 2009 model year Forester dogmatically sticks to the Forester formula: a jacked up, four-wheel drive wagon, but with a newish look, more refinement and improved safety levels, says Subaru. Today's boxy, oldschool Volvo-look makes way for a boxy, newschool Mitsubishi Outlander-look. The lamps, grille and glasshouse are slightly more expressive than on the current car, but Subaru isn't breaking any new ground for car design. Good job, because last time that happened, the Tribeca MPV was inflicted on the world.
