Tuned Port Induction Programming Services

This auction is for 1 memcal (memory calibration module, or PROM), and 1227730 or equal ( 16196344 or 16198262 ) ECM and can be burned using any GM BCC (broadcast code) you like, such as AUJP, AXCN, AXCR, ANHT, AXXB and many others based on what you have. Unlike my other auction where new GM memcals are used this is a used memcal. It will be fully tested to assure that it is operational prior to being shipped to you. Unlike other sellers auctions here, mine will be tailored to your specific application based on the questions shown below. I could use big words like remanufactured, or restored, but really it is used!

The auction includes 1 memcal (calibration module) with custom or stock programming for your 90, 91, and 92, Tuned Port Induction injection speed density TPI system with a 1227730, Camaro ECM. Custom programming for your SBC whatever cubic displacement size, injector size, or cam with less than 224 degrees of duration at .050 is possible with TPI. For cams larger than 224 at .050 will work with the speed density type 1227730 ECM, but a different intake designed with shorter runners should be used. One of the spark tables used is from one of the premier aftermarket specialty shops, but one will be chosen for your application that best suites your vehicle.

Recently I've been having to program memcals for people who bought from very large Companies. These Companies are not programming the memcals correctly. What they are doing doesn't allow the spark advance to operate correctly. Please contact me and I'll get back to you, and find out if you're a victim of un-savory sell at all cost companies.

The following questions should be answered to the best of your ability. Some information may not require an answer if your motor is stock. The more information understood the better optimized your programming will be.

#1. Cubic displacement IE: 305, 350, 355, 383, 406, etc.

#2. Transmission type: Automatic, or manual.

#3. Compression ratio and cylinder head type.

#4. Cam specifications: Duration & lift at .050 & Lobe separation angle (LSA)

#5. Injector size: Brand & number preferred.

#6. Fuel rail nueber IE: 1708XXXX, or if using an adjustable pressure regulator? What is the desired pressure at idle with vacuum disconnected. I will recommend if asked.

#7. Vehicle Anti Theft System (VATS): Enable / Disable

#8. Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR): Enable / Disable

#9 Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS): Enable / Disable

#10 Charcoal Canister Purge (CCP): Enable / Disable

#11 Air Injector Reactor (Smog Pump): Enable / Disable

#12 Knock Sensor: Enable / Disable

#13. Cooling fan(s) settings: 160, 180, or 195. I recommend using at least a 180 thermostat for TPI.

#14. Speed limiter: Default is 255 mph / or specify desired speed.

#15. RPM limiter: Default is 10,000 RPM / I recommend limiting it to 800 rpm over peak horsepower expected.

Vaxhall Insignia ecoFLEX Sports Tourer – Details

Mon, 24 Aug 2009

Vauxhall has released details of the Insignia Sports Tourer ecoFLEX But performance is not quite the Holy Grail it once was for car makers. Times are more constrained, and more headlines get attached to the ‘Eco’ versions than the performance versions. So when Vauxhall announced the Insignia ecoFLEX back in April, it got as many – if not more – column inches as the Insignia VXR did (if not with quite the passion!).

Suzuki serves legal notice on Volkswagen

Suzuki serves legal notice on VW It looked a promising alliance, Suzuki and Volkswagen. VW wanted access to Suzuki’s know-how in emerging markets and Suzuki wanted access to VW’s technology, especially its hybrid stuff. But, just like many promising marriages, Suzuki and VW have been handbags at dawn for a while.
