 This is a brand new Trail Tech Vector speedometer replacement head unit.  Trail Tech Part Number 8500-R2.

This meter provides the following information:  speed, distance, ride time, clock, hours, odometer, stop watch, average speed, maximum speed, ambient air temperature, engine temperature.  It is programmable in miles or kilometers, and can be programmed for a wide variety of wheel sizes.

There are not connecting cables included with this unit - it is a replacement item.

This speedometer uses same sensors as Trail Tech Vapor and Striker meters.  If you have a Vapor or Striker that needs replacement, you can use this Vector computer also.

Call for complete smoking ban in cars

A COMPLETE BAN on smoking in cars should be introduced by law. That is the finding of a study of driver attitudes, where 71% said the Government should go further than it presently does to people smoking in cars. Of 7500 people polled, the study found 71% also believe smoking in cars should be made a criminal offence if children are in the car at the same time.

The 2013 Volvo C30 Polestar Limited Edition will be available in the United States in limited numbers for a sticker price of $32,445, including $895 in destination. The 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine receives an upgrade of 23 hp and 37 lb-ft of torque, leading to a total output of 250 hp and 273 lb-ft. Volvo says the power boost comes from increasing airflow into the combustion chambers and advancing spark timing.

A new Ferrari museum opened this weekend in Modena celebrating the life and work of Enzo Ferrari, the legend behind the Italian supercar icon. The €18 million Museo Casa Enzo Ferrari, which is built on the ruins of the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari, not only features iconic Ferraris from throughout the company's existence but also includes other cars with links to the Modena valley area. The new gallery – crafted from yellow aluminum, the color of Modena and the prancing horse logo's background – not only charts the key moments in Enzo's life but also showcases how Modena became the traditional home of other iconic Italian supercar makers such as Maserati, De Tomaso and Pagani.
