Smart Forvision concept

Smart will unveil its new Forvision concept car at the 2011 Frankfurt motor as the manufacturer continues its preview its future design direction. In the last 12 months the company has revealed its Forspeed and eScooter concepts, with the latest addition designed to keep to the original ForTwo's green specifications. The Forvision uses the latest Smart electric drive system, which Daimler claims will add approximately 20 percent to the range of the current electric Smart, with an EV range of around 110 miles. The vehicle's paintwork and glass can reflect heat – on a hot day it can apparently cool the interior by around 20° C. The concept also has a glass roof, with Daimler is in the process of developing transparent solar charging technology.

Stolen Jaguar E-Type returned to owner after 46 years

A Jaguar E-Type that was stolen from outside its owner’s New York apartment in 1968 will be returned to its rightful custodian 46 years after the car first went missing. Original owner Ivan Schneider described the outcome as a "miracle" – which it sort of is, when you find out the full story behind the finding of his classic E-Type. Infiniti Etherea Concept at Geneva

Infiniti Etherea - Infiniti's Compact Concept for Geneva Last week we had one of Infiniti’s Rolf Harris doodles come in to tease an entry-level Infiniti Concept scheduled to make an appearance at Geneva. This week, with two weeks to go until the press days at the Geneva Motor Show, that Infiniti Concept gets a name and we also get a photo to put to the name – The Infiniti Etherea. Etherea seems a bit pretensious for an entry-level Infiniti, but it’s not a name that will make it through to the production car it spawns.
