Nissan bosses have been showing the Nissan Qazana to the workforce in Sunderland The Nissan Qazana is an important car, not just for Nissan in this tough economic climate, but also for the workforce in Sunderland. The Qazana, unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month, is set to take the place of the Micra at Nissan’s Sunderland plant, safeguarding over 1,000 local jobs. GM to invest $2 billion in 17 plants

General Motors said Tuesday that it will invest about $2 billion in 17 plants across eight states in the United States. "We are doing this because we are confident about demand for our vehicles and the economy," GM CEO Dan Akerson said in a statement. Jaguar Land Rover’s Saudi Arabia plans move closer

Jaguar Land Rover has signed a letter of intent with the government of Saudi Arabia to build and operate a production facility in the Kingdom. When we reported in September that Jaguar Land Rover were contemplating building a production plant next to a new  aluminium smelting plant in Saudi Arabia, we thought it was a way off. But it’s not as far away as we thought.
