It works with a 2" receiver and is fully welded and gusseted for maximum towing capacity and chassis rigidity. The gussets allow for multiple hook points for getting pulled out of the mud. This Hitch plate ties together all four radius rod mounting points as well as two extra points on the chassis for a great improvement to the factory rear mounting system which has been known to fail under extreme use. The soft-top flagship is the first convertible Aston with a carbon body, making the stiffest and most powerful drop-top it has ever built. Its 565bhp drivetrain has been taken straight from the Aston Martin Vanquish coupe – the most powerful Aston to date – but the Volante adds 105kg and an extra £6000 for a starting price of £199,995.
GM reveals new, highly modular Ecotec engine family
Wed, 19 Mar 2014GM introduced its new modular family of Ecotec engines on Wednesday at its powertrain headquarters in Pontiac, Mich. The new, reduced-in-size three- and four-cylinder mills will replace three of GM's current engine families, eventually making their way into five of the company's brands. The Ecotec family will eventually spawn 11 engines in total, ranging in displacement from 1.0 liter to 1.5 liters.
Future products: Land Rover will get hybrids, smaller vehicles
Thu, 02 Sep 2010New owner Tata Motors promises that Land Rover will add smaller vehicles and hybrid powerplants, but it hasn't said much about the timing. Land Rover will continue to share components with Jaguar, which is also under Tata ownership. Land Rover already uses Jaguar's 5.0-liter V8 engine in all but one of its vehicles.
